Missouri is lucky to have many organizations that are continuously working towards making a better state. Despite this expansive network of organizers, things still fall through the cracks. This is where BeHeard Missouri comes in. Our role is to connect, not compete. We’re building the infrastructure that supports and strengthens everyone’s work.

Those organizing in Missouri need support. The political landscape on the local, state, and federal level is constantly changing. When priorities change, BeHeard MO fills in wherever there is a need. When BHMO can’t fulfill the need, we have the resources and know-how to find the exact person or organization that can.

While we work with the established organizations in Missouri and connect them with each other, BHMO is also finding and training new people to integrate into the political ecosystem. Through our grassroots community events, comprehensive education series and partnering with local organizations throughout the state, we provide multiple levels of entry into Missouri politics. We want to empower Missourians with the knowledge and tools to become effective organizers, advocates, and participants in our democracy.

No one wants to feel alone in our current political landscape. We want to make every person feel heard, we want organizations and institutions to hear each other, and we want their messages to be heard by all Missourians.
